9 (?) reasons to have your Boudoir Photos taken

I am about to deliver a huge (I mean massive) apology for not writing my Boudoir Photography Blog. 

There can be no excuses (though in true Sheila style I'm about to come out with a few ha ha)...

I have deserted (naughty girl) my boudoir photography in order to build up the weddings, this has been really successful so far for 2012 and 2013 so I feel I can now concentrate on my Boudoir.

I love Boudoir photography, Dove is slightly different to most as I usually take my boudoir shots at a Boudoir Party (as opposed to a private boudoir shoot).

The parties are fun, girlie get-togethers (a bit like a Tupperware party but with gorgeous photos and some wine).. They are for REAL women...

Women who have had children do not necessarily want to be photographed in their sexy underwear (if in fact they have any at all) because of their own perception of their bodies... However... ask their other half and THEY dont actually see the problems that we women see... 

I want women to be proud of their bodies, whatever shape or size. I have lost count of the number of women who have had their Boudoir photos taken and at the end of the party (shoot) have had so much more confidence in themselves and wish they had had photos taken earlier. 

Ladies... do this for yourselves...

Boudoir Photography:-

Makes you feel fab about yourself... I know..I had my Boudoir photos taken at the age of 51 (how old I ask you say ha ha)

Encourages you to concentrate on your 'good' bits.

Helps you disguise your wobbly bits.

Extends (or even starts) your wardrobe of gorgeous sexy lingerie

Is a present to yourself..which..if you so desire can be given to your partner.

Is fun and can be liberating.

Is naughty...but nice.

Is for ladies of all sizes

Is for all ages from 18 upwards.

I actually photographed a boudoir party where one of the neighbours (aged late 50's) of the hostess went home in her stockings and suspenders and overcoat... her husbands eyes nearly popped out...

I wont say what happened next, but suffice it to say he bought some of the photos for her as they made her feel like she used to feel (sexy) something she had almost forgotten.
